Even though we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ every Sunday when we gather to worship, there's something special about commemorating annually the sun rising the third day on an empty tomb 2,000 years ago. Whether your goal is fellowship or worship, consider joining with us during Holy Week. All events are free and open to the public!

Our ministries:
Women's Ministry
The Women's Ministry is very active in the church. Every year, we sponsor the Christmas Craft & Bake Sale, as well as other amazing fundraisers and social events. We support local, regional, and national groups in addition to projects through the Cumberland Presbyterian denomination.
We invite anyone who would like to participate in our activities to come to our quarterly planning meetings.

Men's Ministry
Each Easter Sunday morning while everyone is gathering for the morning vespers, the men's ministry members cook a delicious breakfast of eggs, pancakes, sausages, and bacon.

DEMENTIA CARE MINISTRY
​
First CPC offers Dementia Friendly worship services. On the first Sunday of every month at 2 p.m join us for a worship service that is focused on accessibility for those with dementia, and their caregivers. In partnership with the Dementia Friendly Denton County movement.
